The Last Wish

This mission is already past the point of no return and you won't be able to go to any of the other areas once Richter takes you to the Red Forest during Down Below. Since you'll be starting in the Energetik Palace of Culture Base, make sure to resupply thoroughly before embarking on the last 2 missions of STALKER 2.
You can also visit Pripyat's Technician to repair your weapons and armor and max out their upgrades to make the last missions go smoothly. Although you can just loot the bodies of dead enemies later, it is recommended to also go to the Trader and purchase ammo and medkits that would last until the final battle.
Get to Kaymanov's Cabin
Kaymanov's cabin is just a short walk to the southeast from where you and Richter are teleported. Make your way to his house to trigger a cutscene.

Once the cutscene ends, you'll have to decide the fate of the Doctor. Your choice here will determine and lock in the ending you will get for this playthrough. Shooting the Doctor will lock in the Strelok Ending, whereas sparing him triggers the events that will lead to the Kaymanov Ending.
Lower the Gun
Kaymanov tells Skif to go to the basement, leaving the Doctor outside as he faces the incoming Emission. Skif will then follow the Doctor's orders and find a Cartridge inside a hidden room. With the Cartridge in hand, find the stairs leading to the upper floor and meet with Richter. He will take you to Orbita Station after the conversation and continue the mission.

Fire the Gun
Skif kills Kaymanov and runs to the cabin's basement to take cover as an Emission comes closer, similar to if you chose to lower your gun. You will not be able to access the basement's hidden room in this route.
The Emission will have already passed by the time you regain consciousness. Make your way back up to meet Richter near the door and he will take you to the Red Fortress. This route skips the trip to Orbita.
Install Kaymanov's Cartridge
Enter the room to your left and check the terminal inside. You should be able to slot in Kaymanov's Cartridge into the visiograph.
Get Into the Pod
Exit the room and go to the platform where the pod is. Enter the pod and watch Kaymanov's memories. This cutscene will finally reveal how the Zone came to be.
Talk to Richter
Discuss with Richter what you saw in the vision. When you're ready or have exhausted the dialogue options, Richter will take you to the Red Fortress.
Defeat the Monolithians
You will be teleported to the Red Fortress after the conversation and the fight against the Monolithians will start right away. Stay with Richter while pressing the attack before going inside the building as you will need to talk to him after taking out the Monolithians outside.
Talk to Richter
Find Richter in one of the containers by following his objective marker and talk to him. Due to his wounds, he won't be able to join you inside the Red Fortress.
Get to the Top of the Red Fortress
Follow the remaining objective marker that points towards the building. Look for a ramp in the scaffolding and climb the ladder ahead so you can start your journey to the top.

| 2 | Turn left, set off the electric anomaly, and climb the ladder ahead. |
| 3 | Set off the gravity anomaly, jump over the gap, and go up the ramp. |
| 4 | Reach for the next ladder ahead climb it to the upper level. Monolithians will continue appearing again from here. |
| 5 | Turn around and fight your way to the west. There's another stack of boxes here that you can use to reach the next level. |
| 6 | Go up the ramp and turn around. The ladder on the other side will take you to the rooftops. |
| 7 | Fight your way through a wave of Monolithians while heading northeast towards a ladder. |
| 8 | Clear the Monolithians at the top and climb the staircase. |
| 9 | Ignore the next staircase and turn right to where a crashed helicopter is. |
| 10 | Climb the ladder and go to the other side of the helicopter to find Strelok. |
Talk to Strelok
How your conversation with Strelok will go depends on your choice during your last conversation with Kaymanov, but the mission will still end in both Skif and Strelok entering through a portal.
The next main mission, Let No One Leave Unsatisfied, will immediately start in a fight against Strelok if you spared Kaymanov and used his Cartridge. If you killed the Doctor yourself, you will instead help Strelok inside the Generators in search for the Eighth pod.
