Dawn of a New Day Walkthrough

Get the Control Emitter from the Technician
Talk to the NPC named Powerplug within the area to obtain the Control Emitter. He will tell you to go to the abandoned complex beneath the Promin factory to find the device to use with the Control Emitter.
Get to the Promin CMD Factory

The Promin CMD Factory is located southwest of the Rostok Depot. The area contains armed soldiers, so be sure to stock up on consumables and ammo before heading out.
Get Inside the Underground Lab
You can find the entrance of the underground lab within a large crater. Jump down on the small hole in the middle to get inside the underground lab.
Reach the Promin Device
Make your way inside the lab and defeat the giant mutant rats. Once you reach the locked door, two new objectives will appear: Start the generator and Find the code to the door leading to the device.
Start the Generator
You can find the generator inside the orange room beside the table that contains the "Recording of an Unknown Agent from Promin CMD Factory, pt.3".
Once you start the generator, turn around and get ready to defeat the giant mutant rats that will emerge from the newly unlocked gate.
Find the Code to the Door Leading to the Device
Enter the newly unlocked gate and head to the door on the left side. Enter the door with the red door handle. Go inside the gated corner and climb the ladder.
Pick up the Voice Recorder on the Table
Make your way to the hallway and disarm the rope trap at the door. Pick up the "Voice Recorder Labeled with an Inventory Number". on the brown table beside the corpse.
Unlock the Door with the Code "1976"
Enter the door on the left of the brown table and head to the farthest room on the right. Defeat the mutant that emerges from the room.
Head to the room on the right to find the keypad where you will input the code, "1976", to open the locked door.
Connect the Emitter to the Promin Device
Install the Emitter at the middle of the area. Leave through the open door and kill the giant mutant rats that will emerge from the next room.
Leave the Promin Factory
The next sequence will have you fight your way through enemy soldiers as you leave the factory. Make sure to loot the corpses and unload the weapons to get consumables and ammo as you will likely use up your Medkits and Bandages.
Once you exit the factory, the main mission will be completed and updates to move on to the next one: The Assault on the Duga.
